About Uganda
Ugandan tasavalta eli Uganda on sisämaavaltio itäisessä Keski-Afrikassa. Sen rajanaapureita ovat Kenia, Tansania, Ruanda, Kongon demokraattinen tasavalta ja Etelä-Sudan. Maan historia on ollut väkivaltainen Idi Aminin ja Milton Oboten hallintokausilla. Idi Amin joutui maanpakoon vuonna 1979, jonka jälkeen Milton Obotesta tuli toistamiseen presidentti. Vuodesta 1986 presidentti Yoweri Musevenin hallintokaudella Uganda on ollut suhteellisen rauhallinen.
