About Johor Bahru
Johor Bahru on Johorin osavaltion pääkaupunki Malesiassa, Johorensalmen pohjoispuolella ja Malakan niemimaan eteläosassa. Kaupungin eteläpuolella, Singaporensalmen vastarannalla on Singapore. Kaupungin perusti Johoren sulttaani Temenggong Ibrahim. Tällöin kaupunki tunnettiin nimellä Tanjung Putri, mutta se nimettiin Johor Bahruksi vuonna 1866. Kaupunki on historiansa aikana ollut tärkeä satama.
